Dubai Group appoints Trevor Regan as Chief Investment Officer
Dubai, 30 November 2011 – Dubai Group, the diversified financial services company of Dubai Holding, announced today the appointment of Trevor Regan as Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Regan, who starts immediately, will report directly to Fadel Al Ali, Dubai Group’s Acting CEO.
Mr. Regan’s primary responsibility will be the management of the Group’s diversified portfolio of assets.
Commenting on the appointment, Fadel Al Ali said: “Trevor will play a critical role in managing the portfolio at this very important time for the business. He has outstanding academic and commercial credentials as well as both developed and emerging market experience. This is a very significant appointment and I am confident he will make an immediate contribution and impact.”
Mr Regan has considerable experience in International Banking and Investment Management in developed and emerging markets. He has held senior roles in a number of International Financial Institutions including Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Chief Investment Officer from a Singapore base and Al Rajhi Bank, Chief Investment Officer from a Riyadh base.
He has also worked in Consulting and Academia and is a highly respected contributor to Industry Conferences.
