Dubai Investment Group focuses its investments in the capital markets, real estate and industrial sectors of the world’s most promising economies. Sizeable investments are made into businesses that demonstrate superior value, growth and superior management.

Dubai Investment Group has the following three subsidiaries:

Dubai Ventures

Dubai Ventures has a diversified portfolio, predominantly in the markets of the Indian subcontinent and North and South East Asia.

From its offices in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, Dubai Ventures researches and targets investments that have the potential to deliver exceptional and sustainable returns. Its investments range from private equity and expansion of established companies to pre-IPO/IPO placements, and stakes in listed equities.

Its current investment portfolio includes:

  • 10% stake in Sing Holdings Limited, the holding company of a homegrown property development and investment group in Singapore
  • 10% stake in Sun Hung Kai Financial, the leading non-bank financial institution in Hong Kong
  • 40% stake in Time Broadband Television, India's newest Internet Service Provider
  • 6.5% stake in Bolton Bhd, a Malaysian property development company
  • 5% stake in Bharat Hotels in India
  • 42% stake in EIT (a joint venture with TECOM) – which is the primary investment vehicle in telecommunications for Dubai Holding

EIT’s portfolio includes:

  • 35% stake in Tunisie Telecom, Tunisia's largest telecommunications carrier
  • 60% stake in GO PLC, the main telecommunications operator in Malta (formerly known as MALTACOM)
Dubai Industrial

Dubai Industrial focuses on investments in the industrial sectors of flourishing economies in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

From its headquarters in Dubai, it actively invests in both new and established industrial companies with growth potential. The industry focus of the investments are manufacturing, basic industries, alternative energy, transportation and logistics.

Its current portfolio include :

  • 45% stake in Emirates Cement (a joint venture with Orascom and the Government of Fujairah)
DIG Real Estate

DIG Real Estate specialises in asset management and real estate investments across the globe, with a keen focus on the hospitality sector.

From its headquarters in Dubai, it manages a portfolio in excess of US$ 7 billion.

Its acquisitions include:

  • The Essex House Hotel, one of New York's landmarks
  • Larkisches Zentrum & Hansecenter Shopping Centers in Germany

The Company has also been charged with the asset management of the various properties of the Dubai-based 'Jumeirah Group', a leading high-end, worldwide hotel brand.
