Mustafa Farid Chief Executive Officer Dubai Capital Group
Mustafa Farid, joined Dubai Group in 2003 and is the founding principal of Dubai Capital Group. Bringing 16 years of experience in asset management within the international and MENA public and private equity markets, Mr.Farid has effectively managed Dubai Capital Group’s portfolios and achieved superior absolute returns, whilst also outperforming regional benchmarks.
Before joining Dubai Group, Mr. Farid was a Senior Investment Manager for Al Daman Securities in Dubai where he managed Al Daman UAE Value Fund, one of the best performing funds in the MENA region. Mr. Farid created a unique profit lock-in mechanism that enabled the fund to distribute dividends from the first quarter of its operation.
Mr. Farid was earlier Chief Accountant with the Fujairah National Group and Portfolio Investment Manager with Fujairah Investment Company. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing from Al Mansoora University in Egypt.

Lou Opie Chief Operating Officer Joint Ventures Dubai Capital Group
Lou Opie joined the company in early 2007 from ANZ Investment Bank where she held positions as COO Institutional Banking and Global Head of Markets Operations & Middle Office.
Before that Ms. Opie worked with KPMG globally for over 10 years, in numerous countries in the audit, consulting and risk management disciplines in the investment banking and financial services sector. A chartered accountant, Ms. Opie has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Victoria University.

Robbie Reynders Chief Strategy Officer Dubai Capital Group
Robbie Reynders joined in 2006 from Dubai Holding, where he was Director of Strategy and Business Development.
He started his career as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, focusing on financial services advisory and strategic due diligence work. He then joined a team that successfully set up, ran and exited two JVs between two FTSE companies and a NASDAQ quoted business.
Mr. Reynders has a Master of Science from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a Master in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp.

Fadi Tabbal Executive Director / Chief Operating Officer Dubai Capital Management Limited
Fadi Tabbal joined the company in 2007. He was earlier the Managing Director of Hedge Fund Services with Caledonian Global Fund Limited, where he was responsible for the administration of 300 funds, with assets under management of US$15 billion.
He also has several years of experience within financial services from Bisys Alternative Fund Services, JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.
Fadi has a Masters of Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BSc from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Joseph Iskander Director - Head of Research Dubai Capital Group
Joseph Iskander joined Dubai Capital Group in 2004 after heading the research department at Prime Investment, a leading investment bank in Egypt. Before that, he was a business analyst with Commercial International Bank, Egypt’s largest private bank, responsible for all aspects of investment analysis and for making equity recommendations to high net worth individuals.
Mr. Iskander began his career with Deloitte & Touche auditing mutual funds and banks. He has a BA in Commerce and Business Administration from Helwan University, Egypt, and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Hesham Gohar Director - Private Equity Dubai Capital Group
Hesjam Gohar joined Dubai Capital Group in 2006. He has eight years experience in investment banking and private equity in the Middle East. He is involved in deal origination, execution, post acquisition monitoring, value creation and exits and has been a key member of the team executing the firm’s headline private equity transactions.
Before joining Dubai Capital Group, Mr. Gohar worked as Corporate Finance Manager at SWICORP in Egypt and Saudi Arabia focusing on cross-border M&A and financing transactions across various sectors including real estate, chemicals, food, telecoms, and FMCGs He holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo.

Ma’an Farid Vice President Principal Investments (Public Equity) Dubai Capital Group
Ma’an Farid joined Dubai Capital Group in 2005 after working for his family’s construction business as a Field Operations Officer covering the GCC region.
He holds a BSc (Honours) in Economics and Politics and a Masters in International Relations from the University of London.

David Mee Legal and Compliance Director Dubai Capital Group
David Mee joined Dubai Capital Group in 2007. A qualified English Solicitor since 1983, he has over 20 years of experience in private practice, investment banking and industry.
At Nomura, the leading Japanese Global Investment Bank, Mr. Mee served as European General Counsel and before that practised with Allen & Overy, the major international law firm, in London and Tokyo. He also has recent regional experience from his time with the Varkey Group in Dubai, a leading provider of private healthcare and education, where he was responsible for the Group’s legal affairs. He holds an MA in Law from Oxford University.
